Their video games were an equally messy problem. With all the wires and machines, I don’t know how anyone is able to keep their video game storage neat. I ended up getting a large shelf unit on the wall, and told them to keep any games and controllers in there when they weren’t using them. It didn’t clean up things 100%, but the room is definitely less cluttered than it used to be, and really, I think that’s more than enough to ask for in this circumstance.
