Ninja Master Prep Blender Food Processor Review
Click here for Dine Without Whine - A Family Friendly Weekly Menu Planner (fantastic for families with kids)There is an exciting new product that I’ve added to my kitchen recently. The Ninja Master Prep. It’s a blender. It’s a food processor. Actually, it does the job of both appliances surprisingly well. It’s the first appliance of this type that I have ever had that I use nearly every day. If you’re at all interested in eating healthy, and by that I mean more raw fruits and vegetables, the Ninja Master Prep just may change your life. It’s that good at what it does. But before we get into what it can do for you, let’s take a look at what you get.
The Ninja Master Prep comes with the following:
The Master Pod also sometimes called a Power Pod.
A 48 oz. pitcher with a cover that they call a splash guard, a storage lid , and blades.
A 2 cup bowl with splash guard, storage lid, and blades.
A recipe book, and a quick start guide
The pitcher and the bowl also both have a soft rubber ring around the bottom providing a no-slip bottom.
The pitcher can be used to make several drinks at one time. Personally, I use it to make healthy green smoothies for breakfast. It’s fast and easy. It’s the same size as a blender, and really that’s how it can be used. Of course, it makes a great food processor too, as does the smaller 2 cup bowl. The power pod can be switched from one to the other in just seconds. The power pod uses one touch pulsing to do the work. If you need a puree however, you just hold the switch down a little longer. The Ninja Master Prep makes short work of its tasks.
In general, the 2 cup bowl is used mostly for prep work in the kitchen. It minces, Dices, Chops, Blends, and Purees. The 48 oz. pitcher can also do all that. They both use the quad blade system which sets the Ninja apart from all the other blenders and food processors. It’s phenomenal for crushing ice too, for either drinks or snow cones. You can make delicious healthy ice cream too. Some frozen fruit, a milk ( I use soy milk) a few seconds of processing and you’re done.
All the parts are dishwasher safe too. The bowl, the pitcher and the lids are microwave safe too. Why choose between a blender and a food processor when you can have both in one appliance with The Ninja Master Prep.
