I love this recipe and the best part is from start to finish it takes about 30 minutes!

  • 2 pounds ground beef*
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cans beans, undrained (16 oz. ea.)*
  • 2 cans condensed tomato soup, undiluted (10-3/4 oz ea.) **
  • 4 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

*Try using 1 pound pork sausage and 1 pound ground beef

** Mix  a can of kidney beans with a can of zesty pinto beans.

*** If you don’t have condensed tomato soup, you can use tomato juice.  Poor your juiced tomatoes into a saucepan and add a tsp flour per cup of juice .  Bring to a boil and simmer until thickened.  I’ve done this with our cherry tomatoes from our garden in a pinch and the chili came out great!

In a large saucepan, brown beef, garlic and onion, drain.

Add everything else and  bring to a boil.  Simmer for 15 minutes or until thick and bubbly.

 Garnish with peppers and cheese.

Feeds our family of 5 easy!
