Pasta done quick with a blender

A speed blender is going to help make life for your kinds and yourself a lot more easier than you would have ever imagined. Not only is it going to be easier and faster to cook meals that you’ve been used to eating fro a whole, but the immense versatility of any blender that you get is going to let you cook a lot more dishes than what would have been possible without a blender. Italian food takes a lot of time to cook if it has to be done right, sure I can whip up italian anything in a couple of minutes is the time and the kids demand it, but usually I like to spend atleast an hour making and cooking the sauces, dressings and the condiments for the dish.

The thing with pasta is that in order to make it taste like the way the Italians intended it to be all the ingredients for the dressing need to be prepared fresh. The major component of spaghetti and meatballs or pasta in general is the tomatoes that go into them. While pretty much everyone uses tomato puree nowadays, the truth is and I know deep down inside you know it too that they taste nothing like real tomatoes. Coming from someone who has tried pretty much every available brand of tomato puree, the taste is off by a few factors namely the tanginess of the tomatoes as well as the sauciness of the puree. And some of the bad ones are so saucy to taste that the tanginess is missing altogether.

Once you’ve got the tomatoes and the herbs into the blender (I prefer to use the Vita Mix 1300 TurboBlend 4500)  and are done chopping all of the inions sauté the resulting paste and plop it into a pan with your boiled pasta for the best tasting pasta that you children have ever eaten.

Fresh Coffee with a Blender

Everyone remembers blenders from their childhood when a blender used to be a third wheel to a food processor and dough maker duo. In those times, with the limited amount of tech that was available, there was little that a blender could do that would be of any use to anyones in the kitchen. The memory of when we got our first blender is as fresh in my head as if it happened yesterday. Being an electronics aficionado in those days had its moments! Anyway, what my mother would use the blender most for would be to whip or ‘mix’ liquids she felt too bored to do by hand and that was all the blender did until I took it apart to study and never quite got it back, but that is another story entirely.

Today’s blenders measure blending ability in horse power! Some blenders measure it in watts though but that is usually done across the other side of the atlantic in the EU and allied nations. A speed blender would make for the perfect coffee grinder in addition to being perfect for a number of other jobs like whipping cream dressing for your sundae and making the perfect salad dressings for your pasta.

There is nothing that beats the taste of coffee that’s been made with freshly ground beans and it really is something you only appreciate it when you’ve had the chance to experience it or been denied the chance of having it when you’ve developed a taste for it. Everything else, even coffee at your local coffee place will taste like warm brown water, I promise. What this means for you is that you can afford to elevate your early morning experience with little additional that is something that can easily be justified. It is after all a home appliance that the whole family will use, just like mine loves our Vita Mix 1300 TurboBlend 4500.
